The City is in the process of designing and constructing permanent flood protection along 2nd Street from NP Avenue to 6th Avenue North. There has been much discussion about how pedestrians will cross 2nd Street once permanent flood protection, such as a floodwall, is constructed. The City has considered providing a pedestrian bridge over 2nd Street. We were happy to visit with the Northern Plains Botanitcal Society today and see their ideas for what this area could look like.
